View Full Version : Vintage MTB Frames
We aquired a near-new mid-90's XTR gruppo (full gruppo, brakes, hubs, cranks, levers the works) and need a donor frame to put it on.
Any ebay ideas? Suggestions? Ive had a look around but cant see anything :(. It's such a shame to leave it sitting in a box at work...
I've got a friend riding a Norco TNT titanium frame with old XTR and Mag 21s. It looks cool but geez bikes have come a long way. Canti brakes that do nothing, forks that do nothing. It even has the pruple anodized bits!
Sexual. Snap a pic next time you're around!

As in you want a frame ? or the XTR stuff is for sale ? :)
Nah, we want a frame to put it on! Im thinking an old specialized hardrock or something similar. I couldnt believe how new this gruppo was. THe bike was completely rooted, but the gruppo was perfect! Pads at like 95%, cranks not worn at all.
