Hey Guys

just thinking i've had a few stacks an spills an usually ended up with grazed knees an elbows.

saw some nice looking 661 knee and elbow pads, the lite xc type ones that don't interfere with riding

Just want to see whose got what and what they recommend

thanks
Mark :)

I've got the 661 Kyle Straits which I use for xc riding. Very comfortable and unless it's a very hot day, I hardly notice that I've got them on.

after a hard lap of riding, one of my best feelings are taking the shin pads off and seeing how nice and fresh my skin still is underneath. haha.

i've been using the lizard skin ones

i've got brand-x from crc, although it is probably a little small for me, even though i sized them up according to my height. The straps are a bit short... as though they're made for people with really thin legs.

I use 661 EVO's for trail and DH. Use the knee ones for all types of off-road. They're so comfortable you don't even notice you have them on. Only use the elbow ones for anything gravity oriented.

I can't recommend these enough. I've had a few drops in them and you don't feel anything apart from the impact - no pain that's for sure.

And the EVO's go straight in the washing machine when they get a bit sweaty.

Those XC EVO's look good too... going to get a set of those for my fiance after she bashed up her elbow and knee last weekend.

Nah Brisbane. Only place I've seen them online is TBSM.com.au and their price is reasonable compared to overseas on 661 gear. Better off spending the $ here for that order. Thanks for the offer tho. :)

I don't think CRC are going to be cheaper given the exchange rate at the moment.

Let me see if my mate will do a group buy.
