Here is my new '08 Bianchi Pista :D

I picked it up last night after a shit day of work so it made me very very happy!

The bike came with some well worn white grips and plastic flats for pedals. So i went at lunch today to Gear Brisbane to get some Bright green Oury Grips, Welgo Pedals, NKS Cage and Black leather straps. :D

Riding it is soooooo much fun, Its just soooo different than anything I've ridden before. Took a few laps of the drive way to get use to it. I scared the crap out of myself because a bit of the driveway is a little bit steep and i thought i would be fine, I was but i shat myself!

Here's the pics of her. :D

I will slowly change a few more things like the seat and wheel/tyres but I'm very happy to ride it as it is for now!

PS The thread is called White Track because my GF can speak A bit Italian and then i told her I'm buying a bike called a Bianchi Pista, She was why are you buying a white track? In Italian Bianchi means white and pista of course means track. :P

Had to check it out again, great buy... I sooo wanted one of these. I reckon they will hold their value, an instant classic IMHO. I posted one in the fixie thread, in Melbourne, no decals, damn so hot. SO HOT!

When I look at it now I actually regret not. :(

I bought a Brake leaver and hose the other day and nicely landed on my door step this morning. It's a Colony BMX leaver in bright green as well as some Odyssey Green hose. The hose in the pic of the internet looks quite a bit brighter than how it really is. :( But anyways i feel tons more safer riding down hills now!

Ohh, forgot to say the brake is the old campa i bought for my road bike, I didn't think it would be that hard to find a chrome front caliper in Brisbane! No one was anything in stock, except for high end shimano.

After seeing Lemontimes Fuji thread with his Odyssey PC pedals and lordday sending me to rotorburn, I went down to my local BMX shop and picked up some Clear green PC pedels.

After using the Welgo pedels for a bit i didn't like them, they were way to thin and small for my feel and i ride in my Nike Dunks so they felt tiny under foot.

To get the cages and straps to fit properly i attacked it with a dremal and file and they came up nice!
