Thursdays work for me and adds a little bit of traffic to an evening ride with late night shopping....

what about.... hyde park to opera house around to the rocks and the bridge (maybe over), around to darling harbour over to pyremont or back to china town? or something....

I don't mind doing this as I live in city and have no purpose to ride lol. However you have to allow mtb with off road tyres lol.

I hope not. No dressing like a bike messenger unless you are a bike messenger :)

I can't believe you remember the color of my belt. its black now anyways :P

I hope not. No dressing like a bike messenger unless you are a bike messenger :)

I have a loop lock so have my lock handy so I don't need to open/close my bag to get it...

What makes dressing like a messenger?

a shoulder bag
a u lock tucked into their belt?

what else should i strive to wear to participate as a fakenger.

Here are my options -

Option 1:

Ride bike into city in the morning 45km (not going ot happen), go to work, come ride around, get the train home.

Option 2:
Drive to station with bike, take my bike into the city with me during peak hour, go to work, come ride around, get the train home.

Option 3:
Drive into work, pay 50$ to park for the day, come ride around and then drive home.

Option 4:
Finish work early around 4:30, get home at 5:30 drive back to the city, come ride around, then drive home.

All these options mean i wont be able to drink but. I think option 4 is the best one but.

I guess 6:30 should be all right :)

Aren't you a local city boy?

Justin Fox
21-07-09, 08:56 AM
Definitely not the motorised bike. Toss up between the Ti (running fast small block 8's see) or the Reign for stupid wheelie and sideways fun or the Lager which has shit gearing for anything that resembles a hill.

felixR
21-07-09, 09:19 AM
the reign should be fun for going down stairs and hucking off things!

Jarod

Agreed. Plus it'll have the added advantage of making all us skinny tyred fixed gear riders jealous of your stair riding abilities.

Flat bars do make such a difference though! Transforms the bike and makes it feel slightly more normal when leaping off a bmx or an mtb!

The Local was good, the particular surprise beer you ordered wasn't good in your eyes.

I liked it... it gave me a good headache pretty quickly but that could have been the pints of beez neez or the unknown beer tom bought me...

bring on next week :P

That pub rocks (never used to be that cool when I used to live in the area). So many awesome new beers to try.

City is normally too busy on weekends to ride, and people work on weekdays.. so really the only time is at night.
