just ride to your destination and forget the car!
i drive a Hyundai excel [single cam] 2Dr hatch. i drop the back seats,
take the front wheel off, move the front passenger seat as far forward
as possible then slowly glide my MTB in. just fits in. just!

same deal with my 2 dr N15... seats down, front wheel off.. and slide...
rear strut brace has to come out tho.. and it needs some blanketage if dirty!
other option is a clip on bike rack...

my hardtail fit laying down in the honda jazz back seats down with no wheels off or anything, such a good storage space, but the a-line thanks to the boxxers will not go in the hatch without removing the front wheel.....
My AE101 Corolla seca fits a mtb without taking the wheels off. I could get my V10 in there, sure it was abit tricky, but was possible. My best tetris effort was my ht, 2 x bmx and 2 passengers + me as the driver. Funtimes!
I have to take the front wheel off and move the passanger seat all the way forward and the driver seat a few clicks forward. :( Silly Starlet
Deserves me right for buying a small economical car. :P
i am going to mount mine on the roof racks
turns out the subaru tow bar doesn't like my hks exhaust ftl!!
otherwise I laid my rear seat down in my sedan and slide it in
I might have to try and fit the bike into the car, hope it works.
Thanks for the link above, I've read the link, the clip/strap on sounds good but with a civic coupe, you really have the boot lid, not the same as the hatches, dc2 and dc5 where it's one piece with the window. I may need to visit a store and check it out in person to see if it's do-able.

Thanks to Mr. Thanh who sent me this clip: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=qW9rkMEp_5Y I just took my wheel off and put it on again for the first time.
So exciting, I want to do more stuff now.

if you've got a wing on the big EM1, you can forget about the strap on rack.
you can still strap on a rack if thers a boot lid though
