Has anyone thought of doing a 24 Hour race for fun?

My cousin has done it a few times and even though his team finishes near the back, he tells me how super fun it is!

The guys at work and a few other ringins tried to organise a 4 man team for the mont. Sadly it proved too difficult to get committed people aboard.

But yes, 24 hour races seem to be a bucket load of fun.

I think once we are all riding confidently and can do everything without stopping for breath etc etc a BMU 24 hour team would be good fun!.... I'd definitely help with support :)

These events are the best ever! heeps of people great atmosphere and sometimes even live music, heeps of givaways. oh so much to tell!, I'm up for it for sure.

I actually got back into MTBing with the aim of going in these type of races. It makes no sense then that I bought a Glory. I guess old habits die hard. One day I'll get a hardtail and do one. Fun for sure.

I'm definitely interested but won't compete until next year as I've just started to get into riding and I need to build up my fitness lol. There's another 24hr race happening in Feb (my mate asked me to join) which is held at Sparrow Hill in ACT.

i could be in. i am trying to sort out a clan of 4 for the scott (http://www.scott24hr.com.au/) this year [09].
after doing an 8 hour last year as a team of 3 you get hooked very
easily. it was so much fun.
