So I've just received a new BB and headset for the Windsor (http://www.bikesmoveus.com.au/showthread.php?t=3025) and wondering if anyone can recommend a good place in central Sydney to get the headset cups set into the frame and also either the bottom bracket thread cleaned (has some powdercoat and few years of grit and dirt in there) or just install the BB.
I've got the necessary tool to screw the BB in but, I don't want to take the chance of stripping the BB threads ? I've tried installing it already and I get so far before I'm going to need to assert too much force.
Any recommendations?

Headset cup - just get a long gal bolt from bunnings and 2 smallbits of hardwood with a hole in each to accept the bolt and press in by doing the bolt up
bb- try dirt and grease remover with a tooth brush, if you can get a few clean turns first up then sounds like just cloged thread should be ok once cleaned

Hey tougemon – took your advice and went to Bunnings and bought some bits and bobs to set the headset. Took a bit of tinkering, plenty of tightening and bingo! They are in and glad to say undamaged – my first attempt with the rubber mallet wasn't so successful.
Bought some grease remover too – going to try the bb later this week.
Thanks for the advice.

Cool glad to hear it worked out
Bb should be fine, I'd apply some fresh grease to the thread once clean before installing bb

Will do - have been applying lovely fresh grease on pretty much everything as I've been putting it back together.
