What's the price one would consider fair for Shimano 105s or Ultegra groupsets.
I've seen ebay listings for $550 and $700 buy it now prices respectively.
I've seen another website where the same groupsets were listed for $950 and >$1000. So obviously there's a bit of confusion.
Thanks for the help guys.

About $850-900 for ultegra 6700 is a decent deal, which is about the online price IIRC. Anything less is a bonus as long as you get the crank length and cassette size you are after.
No idea about 105.

I got my ultegra 6700 groupset off crc for about $850, pedalling well. I don't have the experience to compare the groupset to anything else but I can say "it's like butter baby."

I think most of the groupsets for sale on wiggle and chain reaction and velomine and others are surplus stock from european companies who put em up to get rid of em, hence the warranties are probably suss. The companies shimano, campy, SRAM etc have cracked down on bike companies on selling surplus groupsets. Thats why most of the sites have hardly any stock if any and the prices are quite high.
Ive just bought a build kit from my LBS for a pretty good price. Ultegra SL for $1500. Thats walk in with a frame walk out with a complete bike, from mavic elite's to bar tape and everything in between.
