Greetings fine people of BMU,
I'm Phil, live in Sydney - North Shore area, what do i do for work you ask ? well hard to explain, mainly GPS data capture, lots of travel around Australia on someone else's coin :p - data that ends up on navigation maps basically.
i currently own 2 bikes, none of this single-speed craziness but a Trek 6500 hardtail (6 months old-ish) + old Trek 800 (late 90s fixed no suspension:( ) ive been riding Forever, use to ride to school in grade 1 !!! .. haven't ridden for a while before i picked up the new bike as i found it easier to get around in a car + i got a bit lazy ...
i ride because i need something to do, fun, get my "husky" ass off the couch...
What kind of riding do you do the most: well i like trails nothing too hilly, use to love flying through single track!
Your favorite places to ride: at the moment Homebush around the cycleways while im getting my fitness back up, did manly dam as my first ride with the new bike after years of not riding, it nearly killed me  but looks like a lot of fun when you are a bit more fit!
along with this i do enjoy photography keeps me out of trouble usually, cars etc, done away with the last car as it was taking up too much of my time and far to much of my $$$$ ...bikes are cheaper !
