Hey Guys im looking at getting a new DH rig. I stumbled upon this http://www.bicyclesonline.com.au/polygon-collosus-dhx-shimano-saint/
Its got an awesome price point. But i have no idea how it rides. Has anyone had any experience with Polygon or this bike in particular. what do you all think?
Cheers.

Never heard of them, but I do live under a rock and my taste in music doesn't extend this side of 1991, so that doesn't mean anything.

I had a look at the Polygon website to see the frames, because I couldn't tell how the suspension worked on the full bike (the chainring obscured the suspension).

The suspension is a floating design, similar to what Kona are doing and I think the Trek Session has something similar. From all accounts, those designs work well, you might like to look at MTBR.com for reviews of those designs though.

Not sure about the quality of frame construction or finish etc.

Not much help, but better than a kick up the date I guess. :)

This bike popped up on various forums very recently. I've seen lots of people get excited by the awesome price, but havent seen a proper review yet. But at that price, you could buy the bike as a donor to a different frame and still be well ahead of a glory or something of similar value.

I'd say go for it, just so we can hear how it rides.
