Hello there!

Well, i'm charlie. I've got an STP0 which i had since 07, i bought from new. A few years down the track, i buy another bike for the first time in about 12 years - and since then i've loved every minute riding it. I originally bought it heavily discounted (~$1200) through a mate who works at a bike store, and am proud to say i haven't upgraded a thing. I'm probably one out of a tiny little minority that doesn't believe in modifying bikes, mainly because i believe that the less i modify and the more i ride - the better i will eventually get.

The enthusiasm my pal Justin (aka jayfox) was showing for bikes, really got me back into it. Finally some people to ride with! So i rode a few trails and really started to get into the swing of things, until work started getting serious and i went over seas. Then my car came off the road and bam! i find myself with no way to transport myself and my bike to the meets.

The car is back soon, and i plan on getting right stuck back into it, ill be back as unfit as ever but ready for the challenge.

Anyway, enough waffle - here it is:

Hey Charlie. Nothing wrong with the "just ride" philosophy. Saves you heaps of money too. Always good to have mates in bike shops. Bike looks hot and matches your shoes. I've seen a few pictures of you doing somemad airs.

I'm pretty sure you bought the bike to match the shoes ;)

Everyone says STP's (And the Giant Company) are over-rated, but I love mine to bits. I was about to sell it at one point, but then decided not to and I'm so glad I didn't!
