How do you rate the track difficulty-wise? Keen to have a look at DH - not so much for racing but just to give it a try. It's eating away at me... I want to try it but not sure where to start. Starved for locations here in SEQ too.

most of the tracks are not that Difficult, but you do have to have commitment.
the two stand out tracks are Kenilworth and Illinbah both considered to be the most technical.
as for DH in SEQ you just have to know where to look, with the amount of trails being shut down most locations are kept pretty quiet on the intrawebby.

come along and have ago, the sport class is a good way to wet your feet.

Thanks for the advice jimmy. It is something I will conquer this year.

Have you ridden at Toowoomba? Thought that might be a good place to start.

Toowoomba is a fast open and rocky track, one big Ski-type jump, lots of lines throught the rock garden, if it's dry the race line can get really blown out towards the end of the day.

still fun
