Yeah i love the colour saturation. Every shot just looks sweet. You could stick a Howies logo over any of them and you have a brochure shot :)

Yea I never realised til now that the camera has such function, I will check mine as I think taking continuous pics like this is much better than video unless it was about jumps hehe.

I was gonna stop you (Jing) at the section with the power lines above us. There was this roll off thing, would of been good to film some jumps hehehe.

argh - the ladder ramp! I hated that thing by the end of the day during last years Working Week Series. I rode sole so went down that thing about 10 times. It killed my arms and leg - the only part of the track that I didn't like.

i really need to sort out a guided tour. the place is a labyrinth but once master
you will fall in love with it.

and it seems to be always changing too! unless you ride there every 2 weeks or so or live near it i doubt you can ever be 100% sure. Something weird happened to us last time riding there too LOL

LOL, yes we walked 50% of it!

It pretty much broke me and I just gave up. It was 12km of pain, so I'd be in for a guided tour!

We rode 500m away from the end of that trail @ Emu Plains, according to the locals. :o

Mind you we did ride one of the singletrails and it was pretty hectic, but seriously we had nfi where we were going! hahaha

as soon as you park, Cross the rope line and head straight to your right, up the hill, some single trail to a DH course.

then hang a right at the bottom up the firetrail and left at the "tower of power" as its called haha and another DH single track.

at the bottom it goes across the creek and up some hills. challenging rocks. from there its easy to work out.

Remember the first time we went out there?

We went hammering down the fire trail and then walked back up he hill to the single track.

We got lost and kept coming back to the open area (what 4 times?) and couldn't find our way out for over 2 hours!

Pics from this morning. Did not know there was a race on and the course is different from previous rounds. Had 3 fun laps riding amongst all the racers :) They made the tech climb at the start quite a bit harder now that almost everyone but the "pros" had to walk through.

firstly. that pic is from the top section of the climb after max's bridge.
and yes we pretty much all hika-biked the pic above. it was slippery from rain
earlier in the morning. the course was not technical at all this round due to the
weather for the last 3 weeks

i can't believe it jing. i was racing you wally! you know i race there every
round don't you? that pic of the car park i was literally to your left.
that is / was our base camp and always is. 3-5 kids running around thats us!

anyway if you were riding the course i think i passed you guys coming the far side of the track before the long telegraph fast section.

hahhaa yeah, i let all the racers past as to not get in the way but did get decent time riding my tempo between racers so yeh. i stood at that tech climb for awhile and surely enough all the top boys cleared it no problems at all.

yes. i started the track prior to them leaving so by the time i let them pass *they were the first people i let past* i was already in the start of those beautiful flowing corners. Pretty awesome seeing first class racers railing it right in front of me :)

Not only that they seemed courteous enough to say thanks for me moving out of the way even though they really didnt have to.

all happening. D Grade is perfect for anyone. you just criuse around if you want!
you would have loved it!

yeah. that is one of the best things about racing. how nice everyone is to each other. even world class riders.

i tried to keep up with them which i could do for about 30 seconds. their pace is as fast as i can go - but theres no bloody way i could do that for more than 2-3 minutes. they do it for 5 laps!

oh i wouldn't say that. not the front runner guys. big dog - lumbly - the rockstars boys are on dualies. the guy who came second in A grade was on a merida hardtail. jason english is back on a hard tail for parts of races but later on jumps on the dualie.

i don't reckon yellomundee deserves a dualie. its not that technical the majority of the track.
