This is another Thredbo pic that my mate Noel took of me and another mate Gav in the background. It was taken on a trail ride day, to give the limbs a rest from the downhill. I just think the shot sums up the beauty of the area and the relaxed fun vibe we had. I actually have about 300 shots all up, i'll dump onto Flickr soon so you can check them out.

Here are some photos of me trip last month in Taipei and HK, i only took photos of the bike capital, not much in HK besides the main stream stores, i'll write a review and post business cards of the shops i visited in Taipei.

The merida bike was about 230000TWD which is about 10k AUD forgot what model it was, it was all Carbon frame, this guy services bikes and scooters!! most people in twi ride scooters!

That bike rack is on of many around Taipei Uni. it gose for about 100m both sides of the path..... two level bike rack i would say over 200bikes easy

Bikes have recently been more expensive in Taiwan as locals are getting into the sport, you will see quiet alot of Anthems, Trance, Reigns on the road. And they don't wear stack hats. and alot of old bikes also

The prices would be about 500bux cheaper then AUD, shipping is cheaper if you know someone, it's about 100AUD with DHL air for a business to send it over which is alright. but if you don['t know someone it can cost about 250 or more depending on type of shipment.

I didn't get a bike as i was concern about warrenty, and i would have to ship it to mates and then back! not worth it. Only if the currency was better!! lol

this weekend we took the boys to the star wars exhibition at the powerhouse museum.
i thought it was pretty good and the boys loved it. here's a few fav's of mine.
the light was really low in most of the exhibit halls

thanks mate, the echo is the g.f cars... was with a Canon g10 so it is an upmarket p&s and there is photoshop luv in the shots... Just keep practicing and im sure you will get some nice shots :)

My mate was unhappy the Evos won again. He would have been in the grey STi with the Australian flag on the roof and Nepean Engineering stickers on it. He's having trouble with the rear suspension and boost control apparently. It's a much more expensive hobby that riding!

Too right mr crank. Very expensive hobby. Been there done that hahha. Photography is pretty expensive aswell.

I remember seeing that car in the morning with both rear wheels of and he was bleeding the brakes.

that go pro really impresses me. The shots are grainy but seriously there not much worse then my 40d + 70-200 f2.8.
