I thought I'd start a thread where you can dump links to cycling in the media, be it newspapers, magazines, etc.

SUCCESSFUL Australian Simon Gerrans is mystified as to why he has been left out of the Cervelo Test Team for next month's Tour de France, a decision slammed as "outrageous" by one of his former coaches.:

Clover Moore attempts to ban cars from the city in a bid to make the CBD more pedestrian and cyclist friendly.

I like the prospect of public showers/change rooms....so long as they can be maintained and cleaned regularly. I for one don't have access to a shower in my office, which is a big restriction on me commuting to/from work on a bike.
Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don't stop when you're tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.

That would be a good idea. Even if you had to pay $2 to use one for 10 minutes. I am lucky and have showers at work so its not a worry to me. A city without cars, wow!

It'll happen, eventually. George St. as it is is a one lane affair thanks to Bus Lanes and Bourke St. just lost 60 car spaces to a bicycle lane.

If you live in the city, chances are you work in the city so public transport or walking/jogging/cycling to work sounds about right to me.
