So aparantly Ole's only appeared in the Suntour Catalog for 1 year, in 1989. If i've read right this was released with the GPX when they developed the Accushift... pretty interesting... at the very least making me appreciate this a bit more and slightly swaying me to a full resto in the upcoming holidays!...

    Yey for the resto!

By the way. Spend a little extra and get gatorskins for your next tyres.

thanks for the tip mate, is there a particular reason for the gatorskins over the ultrasports?

Theyre not too different in price, $18/$26 its not too bad.

Mind confirming sizing with me? I'm looking at the 700x28c wires. the wheel is 19mm wide (interior width)

Gatorskins last longer (skidding), but are also very puncture resistant. I run them on the salsa and I've run them in my old fixie, and highly recommend them. Get 25c unless your old and fragile.

Oh, you were suggesting gatorskins for the fixies? I guess it would prove even longer on the roadie.

Thanks mate, i'll go with 25c. I only suggested 28 as ive read on the sheldon website it suggests it. Is there a particular reason why? Sorry for the awfully noob question.

Ran them on my fixie and they look barely worn on the roadie after atleast 1500km of riding.

25c are fat enough for everyday riding. Higher volume tyres provide more comfort at the expense of speed.
