Thanks guys! Means a lot. I am going to the LBS tomorrow with it, see what I can do there as they are a Merida dealer. Have purchased plenty of stuff and my road bike from them, so hoping they can help me in some way. Will keep you all updated.

Big OTB at Thredbo on Saturday cut my day short. Xray on Sunday confirmed nothing broken, but movement is very limited. Rode to work one handed this morning

Short ride today trying to avoid getting caught out in the Thunderstorms that rolled by late this arvo. A lot of flowing and standing water around the trails in Kentlyn.

Riding home along one of the local fire trails and my bike sunk into a massive sand and water sludge pit. Rear wheel was stuck down past the rear disc brake calliper. Unclipped fast enough that I didn't fall over, had to get off and pull the bike out. Sandy sludge all over everything, had to use my water bottle to flush out the rear brake and the chain to get rid of as much of what was causing the grinding noises as I could. Bike got a good wash when I got home.

Sick of this rain.
