Have to post the pic later when i get home but i just got some LOTTO INDOOR SOCCER STYLE shoes for $39 at windsor from the factory clearance style place last weekend.
They're black and orance leather kinda shoes, soft sole so they grip the pedals pretty awesome and just comfortable really![]()
Dunlop Volleys!
These are my favourite shoes, full stop. I own 9 pairs of these lol
They are comfy, cheap, light, grippy, & reasonably durable. Great for riding and driving with..

Guys I used to wear "normal" shoes as well until I started doing gnarlier stuff where the grip levels were just not enough. I then bought some Five Ten (5.10) shoes and haven't ever ridden with anything else since. The grip levels are ridiculous, you have to try them to believe it.
I have these.
And these Sam Hill models but not used these ones yet, same shoe as above, just uglier.
I have these too but not used them yet either, same sole as the ones above but a lighter more casual shoe.
I've also got these which are lighter than the 5.10's and way more comfy (to me) but they're slippery on flats. I am using them as SPD's now though with the Anthem.
These are going to be my next pair of trail shoes... i just need to work out a shop where i can try them on before i call CRC
On a side note- these on the Anthem? MR fox you are a confused manYou need a hard soled race shoe for that kind of bike....... to appreciate the RooooAAAAAAAARR!!
My mate rides 5.10's btw and he swears by them....... they stay put that is for sure....

Yup Tai mentioned that about my DX shoes so sure. I'll look into some stiffer soled shoes ASAP (they all look gay though).
+1 for the 5-10 impact. I love them. Maybe a little too grippy sometimes with the dmr v12 lol

BTW:
- My DX shoes with cleats (+ dirt) weight in at 1007g (1kg damn!).
- 5.10's weight in at 973g
Here are my babies, Shimano M225S. These things are awesome, the cleat is pratically 100% protected so I can hike when necessary. However there is zero flex in the sole (as its all carbon fibre baby) so I walk a bit funny, but its not uncomfy. Coupled with my DX pedals I could not possibly imagine riding in anything else.
The ratcet binding mechanism works a treat
Carbon Goodness
took it at lunch, anyone else noticed the black paint off your crank ends up rubbed all over your shoes??
