this is what i think of ironman, taken 33km into the run.
I wouldn't take anything there. BITD (back in the day) I used to take my MTB there to get it serviced, that was where I bought it from.
They were ok then.
I took my same MTB there to get it "rebuilt" as most of my running gear had perished, I said to the man who is still the same owner, with his son there, that I bought this MTB way back when you were in Kingsford, well when I was talking to him he wasn't even bothering to look at me. So I thought he wasn't interested in my business so he didn't get my MTB to work on.
Another story, my mate had a Scott Hybrid that he took in there to get a flat tyre fixed, well, they saw him coming. They tried ripping him off for a new chain, derailleur, everything. He said he just wanted the tyre and they charged him a bomb for that. Can't remember how much. He'd only just got the bike serviced at Marrickville too.
So, I'd say NO. Don't take your bike there.
Ok good I'm glad I asked... So where to go near randwick?
I'm not sure on any places near Randwick mate.
But don't just take my word for it, other members here might've have better experiences than me.

I've heard pretty good things about Europa over at fixed.org.au
I go past it 8 times a week but have rarely dropped in. They hooked me up with some pedal cage bolts a few years ago when mine fell out on the way to Uni.
Velosophy is at fox studios. Back towards Newtown there's a few more, notably cheeky transport and Bike Depot Enmore.
